On Thursday, April 20, Louis Vuitton announced their new ambassador, and we all have been excited since the news dropped because the actress Zendaya is indeed the face of the brand. The rumors that Zendaya had left the fashion maison Valentino started around last month when she first appeared at the Louis Vuitton show in Paris. Even though there was some drama on the fashion show's evening, Zendaya looked incredible. She has been the ambassador of Valentino since 2020, where she made stunning campaigns for the maison, but it always comes a time to shake things up. So, now we are looking at the newest face of Louis Vuitton.
Of course, everyone went bananas after hearing about the news; however, it built a minor concern since Louis Vitton is known for "hit or miss" and rarely makes celebrities look good at significant events. In addition, the MET gala is almost here, and the hope is that they make her look more than incredible.
However, it's fair to say that the maison has stepped up its game recently through new campaigns, such as the one with Yayoi Kusama. The campaign with the artist was a success, and everyone in the fashion industry discussed the collaboration.
The campaign was made months ago, so she was styled by her former stylist and friend Law Roach. Who retired through Instagram months before the release of the campaign. In the campaign released on the Louis Vuitton website, the actress held the brand's famous capucine bag, one of my favorite bags.
The bag has a significant historical value to the maison because it was named after the street, Rue Des Capucines, in Paris, where the first store of the maison was opened by the one and only Mr. Louis Vuitton in 1854. Some bags are a maison statement, such as this one, and they carry immense value for the maison and their fateful clients.
Therefore, Zendaya's debut to the brand involves the statement piece, a "big deal." It shows that the brand trusts the actress and is confident that she will carry the brand name gracefully.
It's without a doubt that she is perfect for the maison, and we hope that the maison is ideal for her. This has been Zendaya year with notable events and even a Coachella moment. She can do it all, and we are here for it.
